Some links on this site — including the "Check price" buttons in our guides — are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra. The price you see is the price you'd pay anyway.

Why this doesn't corrupt our rankings

• Brands and retailers cannot pay for placement, a higher rank, or a better review.
• We recommend products we'd recommend if commissions didn't exist — including products that earn us no commission at all.
• When a product has a safety recall or a serious flaw, we say so even if it's a bestseller that would earn us money.
• Our comparison tables list specs and prices the same way for every product, regardless of commission.

Which programs we use

We participate in affiliate programs with major US retailers (for example, Amazon Associates). Program memberships change over time; the principle above doesn't. All affiliate links on this site are centralized in one configuration file so we can keep them accurate.
